11th Wedding Anniversary Dinner

For our 11th anniversary dinner, Kristy and I went to Le Chateau, a fancy French restaurant in La Crosse. We decided to do their "Tasting in the Tower" experience, which involves a custom menu. Here's the menu we (very much) enjoyed:

  • Sparkling apple cider to open your appetite

  • Fresh asparagus duo

  • Smoked salmon cannelloni stuffed with avocado purée, blue crab meat and salmon roe

  • Seared “Au Bon Canard” foie gras, caramelized bananas and pistachio nuts

  • Escargot à la française

  • Pan seared Lamb tenderloin, Port wine reduction, braised Belgium endives and fingerling potatoes

  • Baked goat cheese, topped with white truffle oil and salad with pine nuts

  • Lemon sorbet

  • Her: Chocolate moelleux

  • His: Crème caramel
